FOX renews Brooklyn Nine-Nine for a third season

FOX has ordered a third season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, the Fox Television Group chairmen and CEOs Dana Walden and Gary Newman announced today.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is currently delivering the largest year-to-year gains of any sophomore series. Season-to-date, the show is averaging a 2.7/7 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic, up 17% on its performance last season.

The next episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, "Defense Rests", airs Sunday, January 25 and features guest stars Eva Longoria and Kyra Sedgwick.
