Sergeant Jeffords: So what do you think? Which gum looks the most like the one from the picture?
Rosa: Two pink, too wet, too small, too chewed, too smooth, too wet, all wrong, too pink, too fresh, too dirty, too clean. None of these work. You struck out.
Sergeant Jeffords: We don't have any time. What do we do?
Rosa: I don't know. Pick one and pray.
Sergeant Jeffords: Uh... I'm gonna go with... you.
Rosa: [slaps Terry's hand] Not that one.

[As Rosa and Dillman stare at each other in the interrogation room, the squad watch from behind the glass:]
Captain Holt: Dillman never talks first when he's in the box.
Amy: Well, Rosa never initiates conversation of any kind.
Sergeant Jeffords: [over mic] Guys, I really have to get out of here. Somebody please say something to get it started.
Rosa: No.
Dillman: And there it is. Now that I have the upper hand, let's get started.
Rosa: Stupid Terry and his stupid kids.

Charles: So from the beginning, I was very skeptical that anyone in our squad was behind the prank.
Rosa: Why didn't you just say that?
Charles: I did, and then you said, "That's exactly what a guilty person would say."
Rosa: Eh, I stand by it.

Captain Holt: Seems to me Cheddar has the gems, and he's my property, so we win.
Jake: Yeah, works for me. Time for the big wrap-up speech. I'm sure you're all wondering how we pulled this off.
Rosa: No, we continue the heist right here, right now. [picks up scalpel] I'm gonna open him up.

Rosa: I marked the gems with ham again, and everything pushed to Easter when I could finally get rid of Scully as my partner.
[flashback:]
Rosa: Doctor, I'm willing to pay you to tell Norm Scully not to participate...
Dr. Millford Cream: Participate? No, no, no. Norm Scully should not be participating in any activities. He could die. I'll go call him right now.
[present:]
Rosa: Now I finally had a teammate whose hand I could cut off. Just needed a little help from Terry.
[flashback:]
Sergeant Jeffords: Boy, that thing's pretty heavy, huh?
Rosa: Did you bring the tools?
[present:]
Captain Holt: But you were retired. You were loving your smoothies.
Sergeant Jeffords: Yeah, but after a while, I felt left out. And if I'm being honest, the smoothies weren't even that good.
Rosa: I wonder why that was. Maybe it's because I hammed your smoothie.
Hitchcock: Am I the only one who didn't get fed ham this year?

Rosa: Anyway, then I grabbed the gems, jumped off the roof, and wrote my name in flames.
Captain Holt: Wait, why did you keep delaying the heist? Couldn't you have just won at Halloween?
Rosa: Oh, I did. These are the real Halloween gems. I switched them out before Cheddar found them. I also won on Valentine's Day. I switched those gems out before I gave them to Scully. And then I won today. So while you nerds are always arguing about who the only two-time champion is...
Jake, Amy & Holt: Me.
Rosa: I just became the first three-time champion. I guess there's just one thing left to do.
[later:]
Jake: To Rosa Diaz, an amazing human/genius.
All: To Rosa Diaz.

Amy: Hey, so, given the fact that you haven't slept in forever, I feel like I should drive you home.
Rosa: I'm not going home. I'm going out.
Amy: What? Really? What is your life?
Rosa: It's pretty good actually.
Amy: Huh.

Sergeant Jeffords: And those of you patrolling 7th Avenue, please be aware of the new pedal pubs. They're bike-powered mobile bars that are very popular with bachelorette parties. But unfortunately they have led to a dramatic increase in the rarely seen case of female public urination.
Rosa: Resist.

Rosa: They're happening every five minutes and they're lasting 20 seconds. Your baby's coming.
Amy: It's still not active labor. Don't worry! I'm not gonna have the baby here and get placenta all over your desk or whatever it is that you're afraid of.
Rosa: Wait, is placenta something that can get all over?
Amy: Actually, technically...
Rosa: You know what, don't answer that, I don't wanna know.

Rosa: Would you mind telling us what happened from the beginning?
Aisha: Sure. I was walking home from the pharmacy when two uniformed cops stopped me and asked me what was in my bag. I said nothing, just some personal items. But then they kept bothering me, saying, well, if it's nothing, I should have no problem with showing them. But in my mind I'm like, why do I need to show them my new loofah?
Rosa: You don't. It's your loofah.
Aisha: Thank you, Ms. Diaz. It is my loofah. Anyways, I said I wanted to go home, so I tried to walk past them, and they grabbed me. Suddenly, I'm thrown on the ground and they're yelling at me to stop resisting, which I wasn't. I was just scared. Then they threw me up against the squad car, saying they was arresting me for assaulting them. I'm the one who got the black eye and bruises all over my body, but somehow I assaulted them? Do you remember what time of day it was?
Aisha: 5:45, 6:00.
Rosa: So right at the end of a shift.
Aisha: Which means?
Rosa: Some officers like to make arrests at the end of their shift so they can work later and get extra overtime.
Aisha: That is so wrong.
Jake: It is. But I promise you, we are gonna get you justice.
Aisha: Yeah, we'll see.

Rosa: How many more of these are we gonna do till you realize it's pointless?
Jake: Well, I don't think it's pointless. That's what I've been trying to prove to you.
Rosa: Wait, I thought you said you weren't trying to prove a point.
Jake: Well, yeah, but I mean, I kind of had to say that so you'd let me work with you and I could make my point.
Rosa: See, this is why we don't hang out anymore, because you're always so defensive.
Jake: Well, it's kind of hard not to be when you think I'm a bad person now.
Rosa: I never said that.
Jake: You didn't have to. Rosa, we came up together. We went to the academy together. We've had the exact same career. All we ever wanted was to be detectives. And yes, we've always known there were problems, but we would solve them together from the inside. So when you quit, yeah, it made me feel like you thought I was wrong for staying.
Rosa: Jake, my choice has nothing to do with you. It was the hardest thing I've ever done. I gave up my career, my friends, my whole life, but I did it because I couldn't ignore what I was a part of anymore, couldn't ignore what the police are doing in my community to people who look like me.
Jake: I know, but not all of them, not me.
Rosa: This isn't about you. And this case where a Black woman was assaulted by the police has nothing to do with you either. So if you're not here to help, if you're just here to prove a point, then, man, I don't think we should work together anymore. And I definitely don't think we're friends.

Rosa: Well, that background is on brand.
Frank O'Sullivan: [enters] [on phone] Yeah, Ma! I got the tickets! What do think? Front row, Ma, Billy Joel. You, me, and the poet of Long Island. Huh? No, I know.

Aisha: So those cops are just gonna keep walking the streets doing this crap with no consequences?
Jake: I'm sorry. We really tried.
Aisha: I guess getting the charges dropped was something, so thanks... to Rosa because you're not a cop. I'll hook you up with those five stars on Yelp. [exits]
Jake: [sighs] That was rough.
Rosa: Yep.

Charles: Uh... oh, no, no, no, no. Oh! I think I just locked Mac in his room. What do I do?
Rosa: Oh, sorry, man. I think the second edible just kicked in. This is a little too much for me. Also, this is not the vibe I was looking for.
Charles: No, no, no, Ro-ro, Ro-ro. I need your help.
Rosa: No, no, no. Adios, amigo.

Rosa: [covers ears] Oh, God, I can't be here for this. Oh, my mouth is so dry. It's all bad.
Amy: What's all bad?
Rosa: I can't tell you, Amy.
Amy: What can't you tell me?
Rosa: It's too real. I need to leave.
