NBC has renewed Brooklyn Nine-Nine for an eighth season to air in 2020/21.
This will mark the show's third season on NBC, who saved Brooklyn Nine-Nine from cancellation after Fox called time on its five-season run on the network.
Last season on NBC, Brooklyn Nine-Nine averaged 3.2 million viewers in the live + same day ratings, a 15% boost from the show's final season on Fox. Adding in viewers who watched the show later or on digital platforms within 35 days, Brooklyn Nine-Nine's typical audience grew to 6.4 million viewers.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine is set to return for its seventh season on Thursday, February 6 with an hour-long premiere from 8/7c on NBC. The show will then move to the 8:30/7:30c slot for the rest of its thirteen-episode season.
