Our sister site TVQuot.es has recently added quotes from the Chris Rock sitcom Everybody Hates Chris, which of course starred Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Terry Crews as Julius.
Everybody Hates Chris, which ran from 2005 to 2009 on UPN and later The CW, was a fictional account of Chris Rock's teenage years in Brooklyn in the 1980s. In the show, Chris (Tyler James Williams) and his family move to the Brooklyn neighborhood of Bedford-Stuyvesant ("Bed-Stuy"), from where Chris must take two buses to attend a majority-White school in the fictional neighborhood of Brooklyn Beach.
Terry Crews played loving father Julius, who worked two jobs and was always conscious of the value of money. The show also starred Tichina Arnold as Chris's mother, Rochelle, Tequan Richmond as Chris's younger brother, Drew, Imani Hakim as Chris's little sister, Tonya, and Vincent Martella as Chris's bestfriend, Greg. Everybody Hates Chris was narrated by Chris Rock, who created the show with Ali LeRoi.
